A Christmas Eve or a wedding day, a retirement party or a family reunion. Mothers and sons, sisters, friends, brothers, sweethearts, lovers, colleagues, people in couples, in pairs, who talk to each other, and more and more badly and little by little turn their dialogue into a human catastrophe, it degenerates, it sinks into the worst of what we are. Fierce, nasty, evil, the tragic belligerence of human nature.

Fête de famille is a cheap study in hatred. The monstrosity, the violence and the cracked, broken individuals who will seek reparation, one way or another, whether they get it or not.
