Christmas festivities in Avignon

In the weeks leading up to Christmas and New Year's Eve, the city is decked out in lights for a warm and festive celebration.

A very special Christmas awaits Avignon residents and visitors from November 29 to January 4!

What better way to spend the festive season. Experience the magic of Christmas in Avignon!

Highlights :
- November 29 at 6 p.m. - departure from the forecourt of the central train station: City lighting parade with Anooki

- December 6 and 13 at 5:30pm - departure from Cours Jean Jaurès: Christmas parades

- December 19 to 22 at 6pm - Place du Palais des Papes: Le Grand Mix.
A funny, poetic and participative mapping that invites the public to virtually enter the city's museums. Discover a gallery of 80 portraits that come to life and perform hits by Diams, Dalida and ACDC! Humor and imagination guaranteed for an invitation to sing along and dance the Mia.

- December 23, 7pm - Banks of the Rhône, Pont Saint-Bénezet: Pyrotechnic light and sound show

Please note: to make the most of Christmas entertainment in the city center, surface parking is free on Saturday November 29, Saturday December 6 and 13, and from Friday December 19 to Sunday January 4.

Pedestrianization: A special pedestrianization program will be in place for five consecutive weekends during the festive season, including, in addition to the usual perimeter, the Place des Corps-Saints, the Place Carnot with barricades at the corner of Corderie/Place Carnot and Place Crillon: November 29-30, then December 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28.
