Become a winemaker for a day
Who hasn’t dreamed of creating their own wine before?

A one-of-a-kind winemaking workshop in Vaucluse!
de 50€ to €
Prepare to be amazed!
A castle set in a sea of vineyards
The workshop hasn’t even begun yet, and simply arriving at the château is already a feast for the eyes.
Appellation, grape varieties, and tasting: a journey for the taste buds!
Did you know?
There are 13 grape varieties that make up the composition of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines: grenache, syrah, mourvèdre, cinsault, clairette, vaccarèse, bourboulenc, roussanne, counoise, muscardin, picpoul (blanc, gris, noir), picardan, and terret noir.
2 glasses, two test tubes, and 3 bottles labelled ‘G’, ‘S’, and ‘F’ will be waiting at each workstation, resembling a little chemist’s office, along with a pretty apron (bonus!).
You’ll be introduced to the aromas of grenache syrah, blending in casks, and the flavours of the appellation followed by a tasting of vintages produced at the estate.
Your palate will become more refined and you will be able to better appreciate wine.
And off you go!
Make your wine…
It’s time to unleash your inner wine chemist and create your own wine.
After lots of mixing, your final blend is ready. From now on, we’ll leave it to the taste buds…
The vintage #proudofmyself
Bottled, labelled, and heading to the cellar to be corked with the traditional stamp of Marianne using the charming, old-fashioned machines. Et voilà, the bottle is finally ready!
Let’s be honest, this is a proud moment.
You get to keep the apron you used in the workshop for free – ideal for cooking delicious little meals that can be paired with your vintage!
The winemaker’s cave: time to visit the cellars
Winemaker for a day, winemaker forever! Accompanied by Cédric, you will walk around and see the barrels and vats where the vintages lie, maturing in the cool temperatures and peaceful silence of the cellar. Here is the promise of an aromatic wine – full-bodied and loyal to its appellation.
And in the wine tasting cellar, you will be able to taste wines from the estate and put into practice your new status as winemaker.
This signals the end of this fantastic winemaking adventure – bottle and apron in hand!
Head towards the village and the castle ruins, which overlook the vineyards. You will be utterly captivated by the unique atmosphere, pretty houses and cellars!
