Private Chefs
Fine dining that travels to you!
In Vaucluse, private chefs offer cooking lessons or come to your home or rental house to cook for you. Now that’s a holiday!
Passionate about their profession and their desire to share the flavours of great local produce with you, these Private Chefs offer the opportunity to discover their emblematic recipes and tricks of the trade through a cooking class or personalised menu at your residence.
You can’t cook without visiting the market!
A trip to the market is an unmissable event for a Chef.
To find the best and highest-quality products, we must visit the producers at the farm or in the farmers’ markets,… The Chefs will arrive with well-stocked shopping bags (some chefs offer the option to accompany them to the market) at your kitchen, where their talent, combined with the magic of the moment, will create an exquisite gourmet experience.

Jon Chiri, an American Chef who is positively Provençal
In 2017 Jon established his restaurant as close to fresh ingredients as possible, at the heart of Les Halles market in Avignon
Every Tuesday, he hosts cooking classes from 8:45am to 1pm, and booking a private lesson couldn’t be easier: Jon will come to you, cooking for you (and with you) a 4-course menu according to your tastes. His recipes will delight your tastebuds, giving pride of place to French cuisine with a hint of New Orleans flavour.
Are you tempted by the thought of a culinary expedition? Jon can plan daytrips or holidays by car or bike that will allow you to discover the cuisine, local producers, and landscapes of Provence, where vineyards and orchards are never far away!

Practical information
Naturally, Jon offers lessons in French or in English. The cooking class and 4-course menu at your venue comes to a total of €150 per person.

Margo de Groot, the vegan fairy from the Netherlands

Services offered by Margot
Margot can share her passion for cooking with you in English, French, German, and Dutch. A family experience for 2-10 people costs between €65 and €75 per person, including table service and clean-up.
A “Picnic in Provence”, where whole foods and plant-based products combine to create dishes that take care of both your health and your tastebuds.
Head to Viens, a little town full of character in the Luberon, where Margot set up shop back in 2019 with just her suitcases, her cooking equipment, and her bicycle. Every day it gives her pleasure to welcome budding chefs for a day, getting to know them during cooking workshops, and sharing with them her love of Provencal culinary traditions. She will introduce you to healthy cooking, the art of the aperitif, and how to serve up the secrets to long life…
Want to host your friends and family, or simply share a meal with your loved one without worrying about preparing the perfect meal?
Margot is there for you (of course, you’re welcome to join her in the kitchen). A menu featuring French bistro cuisine, dishes from countries famous for the long life of their inhabitants, Asian street food, simple or sumptuous recipes… the choice is yours!
Chef Clément, a blend of Provence, Italy and Périgord
You could say that he developed an early appetite for gastronomy!
It was alongside his mother that, as a child, Clément first discovered true fresh cuisine, combining whole foods from his hometown Périgord with his Italian roots in Veneto. It was then that he decided he would become a chef. But not a chef in a restaurant kitchen. Clément loves sharing his experiences and doesn’t like routine; becoming a private chef was the perfect solution!
In 2011, he conceived this dream. Since then, he has thrown himself into running personalised workshops in kitchens located about 200km from his home in Pertuis. Everyone, from children to seniors, can cook together and enjoy a complete menu at home, sat around the family dining table.
Clément also runs a blog where he shares recipes and cooking tips, and in 2019 he created Visiochef, which offers online cooking and pastry courses on demand. Since 2023, he has also produced his own olive oil, with a cultivation of over 1000 olive trees on a plot that he acquired in Saint-Mitre-les Remparts, in the Bouches-du-Rhône.

Chef Clément’s cuisine
Clément can share his recipes and top tips with you in French, English, and Spanish. Depending on the options and the number of participants, the private course (including table service) costs: €90/person (from 7 people), between €460 € and €500 for groups of 1 to 4 people, or between €560 and €600 for groups of 5 to 6 people.
