MTB no.35 - Cedar forest and Philippe Tower
Tourist service in Lauris :
A beautiful trail that follows part of the Grande Traversée de Vaucluse à VTT. Travel across the northern and southern slopes of the Petit Luberon, between Lauris and Bonnieux, two magnificent villages which are emblematic of the territory.
Aside from some sections of the track, the various uphill and downhill paths can be very steep, stony and technical (100 m of push at km 5.5).
Not to be missed: the panoramic view from Le Portalas and Peyrafio, the cedar forest, the charm of the Bonnieux back streets, the sweetness of life in Lauris.
Also unmissable: the descent from the Tour Philippe, the path of the lovely descent into the Seyes valley.
Attention: there may be sheepdogs on the ridges in springtime
Caution: Pay attention to your speed as you descend, you are not the only person on these roads!
Variation: you can also start the route from Bonnieux.
