“Méditerranée”
At Villa Datris
In 2026, the Villa Datris Foundation is gathering 74 artists from 20 countries to explore the Mediterranean, a space of memory, migration, and contemporary challenges such as climate change. The works on display intertwine stories of exile with tales of hope, advocating for welcome, solidarity, and recognition of the Other. The exhibition invites visitors to discover a Mediterranean that is open, compassionate, and resilient, a place where traditions, ruptures and poetic commitments cross paths.

Before the silence – Morel Barneron, 1997. Photographs by Bernard Baudin
At the Museum of Cardboard and Printing in Valréas
In 1997, Bernard Baudin documented the protests of employees at the Morel-Barneron factory (Valréas), which was threatened with closure. His images act as a testimony to the centuries-old history of the family-run enterprise (since 1895), and the solidarity of its workers. This exhibition transforms photography into the medium of social memory, celebrating the ability of communities to create and to resist.

Ernest Pignon-Ernest – Shadows of Naples
This exhibition unveils over 200 unpublished or rare works (drawings, photographs and screen prints) from the Neapolitan collection created by Ernest Pignon-Ernest between 1988 and 2015. The collection shines a light on the profound connection between the artist and Vaucluse, where he completed his first works “in situ” in 1966, in response to the nuclear strike force on the Sault plateau. The exhibition establishes a dialogue between the artist’s creations and the Inguimbertine’s collections, highlighting the historical and poetic ties between Italy and the Comtat Venaissin.

Mémoire de feuilles
At the François Pétrarque library-museum
Botanical artist Marine Guillemot transforms leaves and plants from the Luberon region into exquisitely delicate papers using ancestral Asian techniques that preserve the memory of the landscape and the rhythm of the seasons. With a delicate touch, she refines nature to create light but sturdy structures, illuminated by natural pigments and the rich colours of the south, and occasionally enhanced by a touch of gold. Her work nurtures a sensitive union between artistic creation and the environment, where each leaf tells the story of the landscape that conceived it.

Rive gauche de la Sorgue
84800 Fontaine-de-Vaucluse

From April 2nd to September 28th, open Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends from 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 6pm.

Presence
Campredon art & image museum is exploring the boundary between the real and the intangible through the works of 26 contemporary artists. “Presence” invites visitors to engage in a profound reflection on the existence of humanity and its journey through time, with a focus on how the absent and “off-screen” reveals the invisible. The artists act as messengers for memory, using painting, photography and generative art to immortalise the evanescence of memories and poetically inhabit the space. By soliciting the introspection of the visitor, the exhibition questions our relationship to space and to others, transforming the materiality of the works into a mirror of our hidden realities.

A century of art
At Château de Lourmarin
The Château de Lourmarin is celebrating the centenary of its Foundation, created in 1926 by Robert Laurent-Vibert. For the last century, this institution has hosted more than 600 artists in residence, thus perpetuating the desire of its founder to maintain a living heritage at the heart of the Luberon region. To mark this anniversary, a retrospective exhibition highlights works of 30 of these residential artists, who will retrace the evolution of artistic trends and the spirit of creation that has animated the chateau since the 1920s.

2 avenue Laurent Vibert
84160 Lourmarin

From April 20th, 2026, to March 31st, 2027.

“Feuilles, Formes, Fibres”
At Château de Gordes
The Château de Gordes presents “Feuilles, Formes, Fibres”, an exhibition in three parts bringing together the works of Marine Guillemot, Kristian Dessailly and Aurélia Jaubert. Aurélia Jaubert explores the memory of images and the reinvention of obsolete media, while Kristian Dessailly, influenced by the masters of geometric abstraction, has developed a lyrical and gestural painting style. Marine Guillemot contributes her work “LEAFSCAPE”, a botanical immersion where leaves foraged from the Luberon region have been reworked into paper and enlarged to create an odyssey between the infinitely small and the vast landscape.
