Résidence de Vacances Escapade - Le Moulin de César

An ideal base of operations in Provence. The very next day we took off on various adventures - mountain biking on trails, hiking on the hiking paths for those that wanted to hike, and off to see the local sights for others. A few of us had prepared to bike up Mont Ventoux so off we went. Others hiked in the heart of the beautiful Dentelles de Montmirail. We visited the Roman ruins with the children and really enjoyed a lifesize lesson in history!
At the end of this magnificent day, we got together at the restaurant in the Résidence. Lucky for us the chef had prepared a few local specialties such as spelt from the Sault highlands, and strawberries from Carpentras. Every age was thrilled, dining on the outside deck. We met some people with the yoga group, and others from the chorale we had heard rehearsing to the sound of a piano in one of the meeting rooms. What fun to meet new people and talk with them, practicing our French and finding friends for the children. Enjoy an escapade in Provence!
