A veritable voyage of initiation to the early days of l'Aéropostale. 1926. One hundred years already! First flight, Saint-Exupéry takes off at dawn on January 29 for Dakar, flying over Spain and enjoying the poetic landscapes. Then, at night, in a battle against storms, he crashed in the Sahara. He had to survive, fight against the sun, mirages and madness...
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry recounts his early days as an aviator, his exploits and those of his fellow pilots. The author focuses less on himself than on his profession, with one aim: to touch people. He evokes the heroism, despair, risks and danger that aviators face in carrying out their mission, and the fraternity that arises between them in such circumstances. Successful OFF 2025.
What the press had to say: "Terre des hommes" is a delightfully pared-down version of St. Exupéry's text, which Pierre Devaux has chosen to embody to our great delight. Patrick Adler
Humbert Angleys, an accurate transmission. - A fluid staging, with a simple but effective scenography and a skilful play of lights, which allows us to hear the text better and to vibrate with the actor. Esprit Paillete - We're thrilled to discover Terre des Hommes, magnificently interpreted by Pierre DEVAUX in a pared-down, effective production by Thierry HARCOURT.
