Carried by the fierce, unstoppable energy of Shechter II (performing for the first time at Vaison Danses), "IN THE BRAIN" becomes a space of liberation. A place where we lose ourselves, where we let ourselves be carried away by the flow of movement, the weight of bass and the euphoria of bodies attuned to Shechter's characteristic groove.

In an atmosphere at once rave and ritualistic, the dancers don't just perform: they go wild. They embody the rhythm, breaking down the boundaries between stage and audience, and drawing us into a feverish, total experience that leaves us with a taste of unfinished business and a desire to dive right back in!

Developed from "CAVE", a shorter piece originally created for the Martha Graham Company and Studio Simkin - which explored the night, human gatherings and their transcendent dimension - "IN THE BRAIN" amplifies its scope, transforming theater into a visceral, high-voltage celebration of movement, music and pure, unfiltered energy.
