Calling all wine-lovers and gourmets! An event open to the general public, part of Gastronomy Week festivities.
In a bid to sell their produce to the finest restaurants in France, wine-growers from this protected region are putting on tasting sessions, with their wine washing down dishes cooked by top local chefs, cheese-makers and pastry chefs, all in a friendly atmosphere, in the village square.They each provide an example of their savoir faire as finger-food, or in glasses, and dainty morsels. The menu comprises starters, main courses, matured cheeses and a dessert.As the perfect accompaniment, 30 wine growers will be sharing a taste of their finest red and rosé vintages, around barrels opposite the chefs. Feel free to wander from one stand to another, sampling dishes along with the various wines on offer.
