The large bric-a-brac sales in Carpentras are always a great hit in the region. In fact, Carpentras has become well known for its Sunday flea markets.Nearly 800 exhibitors gather together, with stalls extending over some 5 hectares, to the delight of the general public and professional collectors who come in search of rare objects. Anything can be bought and sold here: books, records, post cards, old tools, textiles, embroidery, crockery, decorative objects, furniture etc.
