Aude de Saint-Sulpice was born into a family of artists in Nantes in 1975. After a long career in fashion in Paris, her love of materials led her to ceramics, which she studied under several artists, notably Eric Hibelot and Arielle de Gasquet. This step toward creation was the first in a long period of experimentation that led her to this clear conclusion: she cannot limit herself to a single medium.

This creative freedom would form the foundation of her work. Reflecting on techniques—and sometimes even learning or inventing new ones—would become a fundamental part of her creative process. Freed from all boundaries, she joyfully combined materials as diverse as plaster, cardboard, paper, and even glass. These materials invite her to explore forms, each with its own constraints and limitations, thereby opening up infinite possibilities for her.

Following her instinct, she creates playful and poetic works, always imbued with great delicacy.
