In a 19th-century salon, far from concert halls, the lied was performed in an intimate setting. Jérôme Boutillier revives this tradition by performing Schubert’s *Winterreise*, accompanying himself on the piano.
Trained in Kammergesang on period instruments, the baritone delivers a unique performance of Müller’s twenty-four poems in their original poetic order.
Let yourself be carried away on this inner journey, marked by a composer’s quest for the absolute in the twilight of his life!
Creative Childcare
While parents enjoy the show, children ages 5 to 10 can also experience their own afternoon at the Opera. Supervised by professionals from La Petite Académie – Avignon, they’ll take part in a fun and creative art workshop.
