There are lots of picnic tables as you arrive at the lake, whereas the other bank is great for going walking. With a refreshment stand and a pétanque ground nearby, there’s everything you need to relax, Provence-style!

The lake is first and foremost a dam, a real piece of engineering artistry that was built in 1766 (the second oldest in France). Retaining this water gave Caromb farmers an early advantage in their agriculture.

Don't miss the llama farm near the lake, or La Pré Fantasti, a ruined house said to be haunted! There’s also a discovery trail between the pine forest and olive groves.

Fishing is not allowed at the lake in July and August
