Episcène Theatre opened its doors for the first time for the 2018 Festival, with a programme that was 100% Belgian. The first experience was very successful, and now Episcène Theatre is open all year round.
Episcène Theatre is deeply convinced of the need for culture and for art in general, in every shape and form. The theatre is a venue for every type of theatre, from classical to contemporary, from circus to musicals, gestual theatre, theatre of objects... and the door is open to youthful creation. The theatre also holds workshops on creative writing. It is a residence for artists in residence and can rent space. It has scheduled performances.
Episcène makes space available for residence, for special events and for perfrances. It has a room that seats 98, and has a good dressing room. The space is all air-conditioned.
