Lafare is a small village standing high in the Dentelles de Montmirail massif at the foot of a hill. It is surrounded by woodland and hills which stretch to the north and the west to reach the Dentelles de Montmirail and Sarrasines peaks and the cliffs of La Salle.
Lovely village in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
Must-see: the classical Saint-Christophe parish church with its square bell tower (11th and 12th centuries and extended in the 17th century), the Saint Christophe waterfall and the chapel of the same name and a small rural building with the roof partly covered in lauzes.
