Gigondas is one of the most picturesque villages in the old principality of Orange, surrounded by ramparts from the Middle Ages and set against the backdrop of the Dentelles de Montmirail, a real geological curiosity. Its vineyard produces a famous wine. In any season walkers and climbers can enjoy the paths and climbing walls of this massif which stretches as far the horizon.
