The Museum is housed in a 17th century city mansion, built atop the the ruins of a Gallo-Roman theatre. The museum tells the story of human habitation in the Apt area, from Prehistory to the 18th century. There are two major directions which tell the story - the history of ceramics of objects from daily life, and the history of religious beliefs and spritiual life. Discover the archeological collections, and the painted ex-votos placed at the cathedral in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Also see the collections of apothecary ceramics and elements from the old Apt hospital.Equipment
