La Motte d'Aigues is a village south of the Parc Naturel Regional du Luberon, in a slightly elevated plain to the grid cultures. It has old narrow streets and beautiful houses of notables. Gastronomy lovers will be delighted to bakery products crafted to the old but also its vineyards classified as "AOC Luberon" whose wines can be enjoyed in its cooperative.
See: The church with its bell tower with two arches; small Waldensian temple (early twentieth century) above the village; historic ceramic plate of the 500th anniversary of the Act of habitation of the village; Etang de la Bonde, the largest lake in the area (32 ha) which offers shaded shores and sandy beaches.
