This beautiful townhouse, with a lovely garden, is home to an exclusive collection of decorative arts that the late owner, Louis Vouland, accumulated throughout his lifetime, with a particular emphasis on the 18th century...
Dressers, occasional furniture, seating designed by leading cabinetmakers during the reign of Louis XV and Louis XVI, faience and chinaware, gold and silverware, clocks, tapestries, paintings and everyday objects... All of the items displayed in the museum recreate the luxury and elegance of past centuries, providing visitors with a charming and intimate insight into this exclusive world. A new collection of works by regional artists, particularly from the Avignon School in the late 19th and early 20th century, lends a Provençal flavour to the museum.
Workshops for school groups held throughout the year.
Concerts, conferences and temporary exhibitions all year round.
Programme available on: www.vouland.com, under events section.
