La Chartreuse - Centre national des écritures du spectacle
Tourist service in Villeneuve-lez-Avignon :The Chartreuse du Val de Bénédiction was founded in the 14th century by Pope Innocent VI who entrusted the decoration of his personal chapel to Matteo Giovanetti, the painter of the frescoes at the Palace of the Popes.
Individual and group tours are available, guided tours and tours for the visually disabled are available by reservation.

Closed exceptionally on November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
From October to March from 10:00 to 17:00.
From April to September from 9:30 to 18:30.
Closed the first two weeks of January.

Reduced price: 6.50 €.
Free entry for children < 18 years.
