Free shuttle across the Rhone river from the foot of Avignon bridge to the tow path on Barthelasse Island. Take the boat across the water where you can enjoy wonderful views of the Pont d'Avignon, the city walls, the Palais des Papes as well as numerous walks and bike rides.

If you’re interested in exploring Barthelasse Island, Europe’s largest river island, you can take your bicycle on board with you. From 16th February to 31st March: Wednesdays 2 - 5.15 pm, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 10 - 11.45 am and 2 - 5.15 pm. From 1st April to 30th June, (except 1st May): every day 10 am - 12.15 pm / 2 - 6.15 pm. From 1st July to 31st August: every day 11 am - 8.45 pm From 1st to 30th September: every day 10 am - 12.15 pm / 2 - 6.15 pm From 1st October to 31st December (closed on Christmas Day): Wednesday 2 -5.15 pm – Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 10 - 11.45 am and 2 - 5.15 pm. Closed 1st January to 15th February.
