Our saffron farm was created in 2021 in the commune of Saint Pierre de Vassols. Harvesting is entirely by hand, early each morning, and takes place from early October to late November. The climate, the excellent terroir of Provence and the work of the producer produce a very high quality saffron grown with passion. Saffron is grown manually, rigorously and precisely: the art of producing exceptional saffron. You need 200 flowers to make 1g of dry saffron! 1 decigram (0.1g) is enough to prepare a dish for 6 to 8 people, depending on the recipe! Our saffron is packaged in an elegant 0.5-gram round tin.
Our olive grove is also located in the commune of Saint Pierre de Vassols at the foot of Mont Ventoux. This is a low-acidity PDO Provence extra virgin olive oil made directly from the olives, using mechanical processes only. For optimum conservation, it comes in an elegant rectangular one-litre tin.
