The estate uses biodynamic farming and organic methods. Harvesting is carried out manually. The vineyard comprises 14 hectares in the communes of Rasteau and Cairanne.
The word “Travers” taken from the domaine name means 'side of the rising sun' perpetuates the tradition from father to son. Already, on this property, the father of Robert…, Elie, was cultivating vines in 1931. Since 1976, the production developed and the sale of bottles began.
