In the heart of the LIRAC appellation, in the commune of Roquemaure, lies Castel Oualou, an authentic, family-run winegrowing estate, nestled on a unique sandy-clay terroir of rolled pebbles and limestone scree.
The Causses and Saint Eynes estates benefit exclusively from galets roulés; and the Garrigues estate from a sandy-clay soil. The terroir benefits from ideal north-south exposure.
This geographical configuration provides a privileged setting for vine-growing, enabling the grape varieties to flourish in optimal conditions.
