L'Authentic Bistrot is located high up in the hills of Caseneuve, a small village perched in the clouds,with outstanding views of the Apt Valley and of the two most beautiful mountains of the region, Mount Ventoux and the Luberon. Stone built houses, narrow lanes, medieval castle and oratory (the largest in Provence)make up part of the charm of this place, well known to lovers of Vaucluse. Far away from the traditional tourist routes, Caseneuve retains its peaceful village atmosphere inhabited by local people. L'Authentic Bistrot contributes fully to the life of the local community throughout the year by offering local services (newspaper, gas and bread) and through organizing entertainment regularly. This is the ideal village Bistrot, borne out by the numerous class photos on the wall, a woman knitting under a fig tree, lively meals, a man cultivating a field of lavender. In fact, a casual customer will feel just as welcome as a regular one. Weekly closing time : Mondays.
