We look forward to welcoming you to the heart of authentic Provence, in the pretty village of Vacqueyras. The property, ideally situated at the top of the village, has been entirely restored and decorated by us and has 5 spacious, intimate guest rooms and a private car park. In a peaceful wooded setting, the rooms all have a large independent terrace with outdoor furniture, a private entrance, a fully-equipped kitchenette, a dining area, a large double bed (160x200 cm), a bathroom with toilet, Wi-Fi access, a connected TV and are all air-conditioned. Accommodation is provided for children under 2. Breakfast is included and provided in your kitchenette with regional products, fresh bread and pastries will be left for you every morning so you can enjoy your time at your convenience. In the vast garden, you can relax to the song of the cicadas on the deckchairs by the pool, play a game of pétanque in the shade of the pine trees or unwind in the sauna. And if you're feeling peckish, we can prepare platters of cold meats and cheeses, or small dishes to order 48 hours in advance. On the wine route, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, you can enjoy wine tourism and discover the vineyards and cellars of our region, famous for their Côtes-du-Rhône Grand Cru Classé wines. Less than an hour's drive away, you can visit cultural sites such as Avignon (Palais des Papes and its famous bridge), Carpentras (Berlingots and truffle market), Orange (Arc de Triomphe and ancient theatre), Vaison la Romaine (archaeological digs and ancient theatre), L'Isle sur la Sorgues and its antique dealers, Fontaine de Vaucluse (museums and its famous chasm) and Le Pont du Gard. If you're a nature-lover, you'll be able to explore our giant of Provence, Mont Ventoux, the Dentelles de Montmirail, typical Provencal villages such as Gigondas and Séguret, the ochres of Roussillon (between the Monts du Vaucluse and the Luberon), and the Lac du Paty for a refreshing swim. The more active will be spoilt for choice, with country walks through the vineyards or along the ‘via Vénaissia’, an old restored railway line, hiking or cycling, and even climbing our ‘Dentelles’ for the more experienced. For your leisure activities, you'll enjoy the close proximity of Parc Spirou and the Wave-Island water park, just 20km away, with its many attractions for young and old alike. There are also a number of climbing parks (Vaison, Mormoiron) and, just 1h30 away, you can explore the Camargue and the beaches of the Mediterranean or enjoy the creeks and creeks of Marseille. Two public electric car charging points are available next to the property, as well as a children's play area. The village shops are less than 5 minutes' walk away.
