Chez Pégase

With a large, open-plan, two-storey living room as the centerpiece of the house, it's the perfect place to share moments in good company.
Thanks to the house's charming layout, you can prepare delicious meals in the kitchen while chatting with friends or family on the terrace or in the living room. However, if you prefer to take time out to relax, the bedrooms offer a resting space far enough away from the central room to recharge your batteries.
To enhance it, make it more comfortable and with the aim of improving its ecological footprint, we completely renovated the house in 2017. This enabled us to obtain the "Ecogîte" label from Gîtes de France.
While renovating the house, we also took the time to imagine what the Pegasus garden could look like. We planted a collection of local shrubs to complement the existing vegetation of white oaks, multicolored rockroses and bushes of thyme and rosemary. The grounds are framed by a plant fence that shelters a diverse and colorful fauna.
In summer, you can cool off in the pool in front of the house and enjoy a pastis on the south-east-facing terrace, while admiring the splendid view of the old village of Lauris and the Durance valley, with the iconic Sainte Victoire in the background. When the sun's rays have softened, you can also play a game of pétanque on the boules pitch behind the house.

On the ground floor, in addition to the kitchen, living room and separate toilet, you'll find two bedrooms with private shower rooms.
On the second floor are a third bathroom and two bedrooms with balcony and access to the garden via an outside staircase.
Finally, above this third bathroom is a mezzanine area equipped with mattresses, perfect for retreating with a good book.

In the kitchen there's a dishwasher and microwave oven, and in the living room you'll find a TV with DVD player. If you wish, there is also internet access and a laundry room with a washing machine.
Domestic hot water is heated by solar panels, and the house has pellet-fired central heating. To make things even cosier when it's cold outside, the living room features a large fireplace.
The house is set in 2300 m² of land, part of which is wooded.
The 4×8-meter, 1m60-deep swimming pool is protected by an alarm. There are two terraces: one of 25 m² to the west and one of 16 m² to the southeast. Both are equipped with garden furniture, and if you wish, you can use the gas barbecue or jeu de boules.

With the Luberon on your doorstep, you can simply slip on your hiking boots or get on your bike to explore the surrounding regional nature park.
