Cie Baudracco presents Pagnol's Trilogie Marseillaise: Marius on 5/08, Fanny on 7/08 and César on 9/08 in the heart of the Théâtre Antique as part of its Soirées à l'Antique program. Free tickets are available from the Tourist Office from 18/07.
At the age of 20, Fanny's son Césariot, raised at great expense by the generous Panisse, graduated second from the Ecole Polytechnique. After
the shipowner's funeral, he learns that the latter is not his real father, and that his progenitor is in fact Marius, Caesar's son, described to him more or less as a renegade. To find out for himself, he decides to meet Marius incognito, gleaning information from his entourage in Toulon. He discovers the sensitive, gentle, dreamy man his father was.
