Mandy Gaines' powerful voice evokes both the technical perfection of Sarah Vaughan and the sensitivity of Billie Holiday. Her style is close to that of Ella Fitzgerald, for, like her predecessor, she has in her voice that eternal youth that makes her so unique. Mandy Gaines is one of those great black American singers who dazzles with her voice, her range, her swing, her scat, her symphonic inflections and her stage presence.

Since 2016, Mandy Gaines has been performing in France with the Cédric Chauveau trio. The perfect osmosis between the trio's musicians and the singer's infallible swing make for an orchestra that always receives a jubilant welcome from the audience at each of its performances.
