This summer the Blachère Foundation presents the exhibition Chimères (Chimeras), at its new premises in the old train station in Bonnieux in the heart of the Luberon.

This exhibition brings together the works of twenty or so artists from all over Africa and its diaspora, immersing the visitor in a world full of hybrid creatures with metaphoric accents. In this collection of artworks, the new chimeras by the 24 artists presented come about from themes that favour transcendence, such as tales and the bestiary, creation and the space between two worlds, hybridity and identity.
