Wine and Vineyard Celebration - Vintners' Village

Wine cellars and wine estates throughout Vaucluse introduce you to their terroirs, their appellations and their wines. They introduce you to the art of wine-tasting, the wine-making savoir-faire, the history of this land of exceptional wines, bringing together connoisseurs and wine-lovers from far and wide. This event takes place every year during the weekend of the Ascension holiday.

For this 29th edition of Wine and Vineyards, a village grouping together Vaucluse winemakers will be set up on the square in front of the Popes' Palace in Avignon from 4 to 10pm.

Cooperative and private wine cellars will present their wines. Local farmers, part of the "Bienvenue à la ferme" network organized by the Vaucluse Chamber of Agriculture, will also display their wares.

For children, there will be bouncy structures to play on, and an introduction to tasting grape juice, led by the youth in the Vaucluse Cooperative Cellers Federation.

On Saturday 20 May 2023, cellars from Vaucluse welcome you at the cellar to learn about winemaker and the related trades.
