This year, the spotlight is on Jean-Paul Elysée, who was immersed in gospel music from an early age. Joining the church choir at the age of 8, he learned, experimented and grew, and it was only natural that, as an adult, he ended up making it his profession. Since then, his areas of expertise have expanded considerably. Producer, arranger, author, composer, he continues to be enriched by his travels and experiences. And while his preferred playground is jazz today, he's not afraid to branch out into soul music and pop.
