Event in Avignon :
The Dubrujeaud family, in particular the father and grandfather of Jean Angladon, former owner of the premises with his wife Paulette Martin, enjoyed experimenting with photographic techniques.
The Musée Angladon holds a collection of around 400 photographic plates in its storerooms, revealing images of the Belle Epoque: family portraits, landscapes of Avignon, Paris, Normandy, the Mediterranean and the Alps, reflecting the travels and vacations of this family driven by curiosity and a taste for the arts.
A sample of these plates is on display in the Museum's season room, echoing the exhibition Curiosity. Journey into our reserves.
