Avignon
Mac'A exhibition - "Animalia
From 07/04 to 26/04/2026 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends between 2 pm and 6 pm.
Event in Avignon :
As the great extinction of species continues, artists are reinventing their relationship with animals. Through this exhibition, MAC'A explores how contemporary art is renewing our view of living things.
Paintings, installations, sculptures, drawings, engravings...
A sensitive and curious journey to the heart of the animal world, led by five artists who question our relationship with the wild, the fragility of living things and the place we share with them. Their gaze, by turns poetic and incisive, reveals the beauty, fragility and power of living things. An invitation to rethink the boundaries that separate - or link - nature and humanity.
The artists:
Daniela Montecinos - drawing and painting Didier Hamey - engraving
Francisco Sepúlveda - painting and sculpture Julien Allègre - sculpture
Ruta Jusionyte - painting and sculpture
Opening Thursday, April 9, 6pm.
Free admission.
