Composed in 1801, the "Le Printemps" sonata (Op. 24) radiates freshness and elegance. The violin sings with grace, carried by a piano that is in turn delicate and vibrant. Between luminous lyricism and passionate outbursts, Beethoven deploys writing of rare poetry, evoking the awakening of nature and the impetus of renewal.

Echoing this, Schubert's Grand Duo (D. 574) reveals the full richness of chamber music dialogue. This work, which could be compared to the sonatas, differs from them in its language, which is more personal and constructed. By turns tender, spirited and deeply lilting, it bears witness to Schubert's admiration for Beethoven, while at the same time asserting a singular voice, imbued with melodic sweetness and harmonic depth.

The Moreau brothers will strive to translate their complicity into music, in a program where the dialogue between the two instruments is omnipresent. A musical journey in which virtuosity, sensitivity and expressive intensity meet with brilliance.
