A hike for all the family

Begin in the village of Gigondas and hike up to Rocher du Midi.

As soon as you set out on “La Route des Dentelles”, you’ll catch a glimpse of the famous jagged ridges in the background. Climb up to ‘Col du Cayron’, then to the lookout point via a large path which overlooks the Côtes du Rhône vineyards and surrounding forests.
The view of the vines will be lost behind the cedar and pine trees which line the path.
The lookout point’s picnic area is the ideal place to stop for a bite to eat, before climbing to the viewpoint indicator at the top of the staircase, where the 360° view over the Rhône Valley and the Dentelles Sarrasines peaks will take your breath away!
