A physically demanding mountain bike route that could easily have been classed as "Very Difficult", but which requires less technical knowledge than the other “Black” level circuits.
Regardless of the difficulty level, travelling across the Luberon is a true joy, with its ancestral paths, hilltop villages, bories (Stone huts) and dry-stone terraces, wild springs and valleys, fields of lavender and herds of goats, wild grass on the peaks, panoramic views – the list goes on! It’s enough to set your senses (and your leg muscles) on fire!
Caution:
• Beware of the livestock guardian dogs in spring on the peaks and at Aiguebrun, and all year round on the Claparèdes plateau.
•Control your downhill speed; you may not be the only person on these paths!
