This long loop begins with a leisurely start on the Véloroute du Calavon and a few small roads between the already colorful vineyards, then immerses itself in the ochre massif with a severe climb through the forest. After Roussillon, the iconic multicolored village of Luberon ochres, a succession of more or less rolling roads, tracks and paths takes you to Gargas and its gray marls, then Villars and the hill of La Bruyère, to finally reach Rustrel and the famous Provencal Colorado. The steep ascent on the Barriès track leads to the plateau and village of Caseneuve, from where the return journey descends to the flat of the Véloroute du Calavon and the town of Apt.
