In the winter as in the summer, the classified historic monument, the Fountain of Mascarons, is forever flowing. There is a magnificent panoramic view from the ruins of the feudal Château. Not to mention the 17th-century belfry with its unique spire, the 10th-century Saint Denis Church and the Notre-Dames-des-Grâces Chapel.

True to Provence traditions, the village organises the following for Christmas: Midnight mass, nativity scenes and traditional scenes using clay figurines typical to Provence called 'santons'. To complete your own nativity scene, call into the figurine shop.

Séguret comes from the Provençal word Ségur (Safe), itself from the Latin Securitas (security). Located on a hillside, on the last foothills of the Alps, overlooking the plain of Comtat covered in vines and the Rhône valley.
