This chapel belonged to the Black Penitents from Carpentras, a brotherhood founded in 1317 and was built between 1738 and 1741 by the architect Antoine d'Allemand. The edifice boasts a Classic style, with a single nave, a hewn-stone facade framed by pilasters, narrow and deep niches, and an impressive rectangular door framed by palm leaves and a vaulted pediment.
