Built in the twelfth century, the chapel was attached to the priory founded by the Abbey of Saint-Victor de Marseille. However, in the thirteenth century, the property of the abbey of Saint-Victor tapering, the chapel was attached to another jurisdiction since 1380. Thus in 1384, a perpetual curate joined Notre-Dame de Beauvoir. Located outside the walls of the city of Beaumont, the chapel was sacked twice during the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries and therefore rebuilt and enlarged. In 1510, the chapel is connected to the parish and the rest until the Revolution. In 1747, the canons and abbots are Jouques prebendaries priors of the chapel de Beauvoir. In Latin cross a closed apse in the oven, the building is covered with a gable roof resting on a sponge. The exterior of the building has different types of masonry, due to multiple transformations of the building. Inside, the nave opens into the apse by a triumphal arch single roll. The triumphal arch and the lateral wall north are decorated with paintings uncovered in 2008 and consolidated in 2009.The painted decoration dates back to the late twelfth century, which gives the chapel, great value, sets of this period are rare in the region. The iconographic program of the murals shows scenes from the New Testament, including the life of Christ.
