This construction was designed in 1756. Work lasted approximately one year. Prior to this new building, time was established by the church clock which rang the Angelus three times a day: morning, noon and evening. To set and adjust this clock, a narrow staircase takes you to the first floor. A maintenance person was appointed to wind, adjust and oil the mechanism. This belfry has a magnificent wrought iron campanile, so exemplary of southern French architecture. A historical monument since 1934.
