This unmissable circuit takes the scenic route through the Nesque River Canyons ('les Gorges de la Nesque'), and is the most challenging compared with the other bike circuits in this region.
Gradually climb 22 km in the heart of an exceptional landscape: The Nesque River Canyons, also known as 'Les Gorges de la Nesque' - a beautiful hydrogeological breakthrough of wild canyon, where magnificent rocks rise and overhang an abyss, all along a road marked out by tunnels and lookout points, such as the one at Castelleras facing the majestic Rocher du Cire. Upon arrival at Monieux you will discover the "Val de Sault", its scents of lavender in summer and the relief which surrounds it highlighting the need to preserve and protect such a beautiful environment. On the way back you will carefully descend along the Vaucluse mountains, cross the Javon forest, and reach Méthamis, the land of the "Terrasses du Ventoux".
