The Château du Mourre du Tendre estate is located on the wine route, between the cultural centres of Orange and Avignon, in Courthézon, a small town renowned for its AOC Côtes du Rhône and Châteauneuf du Pape wines. Florence Paumel welcomes visitors to her family home with its tastefully decorated guest rooms. Separate entrance with private terrace overlooking garden. Stone building, surrounded by vineyards, in leafy setting with olive and bay trees, and distinct Provençal feel. Guests can also enjoy the pool. The perfect place for a lovely holiday.
The bedrooms are named after famous varieties of grapes. You can choose between the “Grenache room” and the “Mourvèdre room,” just two of the thirteen grape varieties that make up the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation. Each room has a selection of wines. However, should you wish to find out more about the estate wines, you can visit Château Mourre du Tendre’s wine cellar, at 50 cours Aristide Briand in Orange.
Bedrooms are decorated in contemporary beige and taupe tones. Lovely bedding with 160 cm double beds. Each room has an old Tuscany marble, Italian-style shower, wifi connection and flat screen TV. Guest rooms can accommodate a total of 5 people, or 6 with additional bed.
