Musique Baroque en Avignon AVIGNON

With this new season, the Opera in Avignon, Opéra Confluence Grand Avignon invites you to discover aria and instrumental works from the Baroque era. A series of several concerts affords a rare opportunity.

A cycle of 8 concerts of Baroque music, in several different venues in Avignon :
- Sunday 13 October at 5pm - at the Church of Notre Dame des Doms : Ensemble La Fenice - I Misteri Gloriosi Della Beata Vergine
Music for the Feast of the Rosary in Baroque Italy
Featuring Jean Tubéry conductor / cornetto and recorder, Kristen Witmer soprano, Anaëlle Blanc Baroque violin, Matthieu Valfré positive organ
Special guest artist Luc Antonini grand organ and positive organ
Co-produced with l’Institut Culturel Italien in Marseille, Musique Sacrée and Organ en Avignon and Opéra Grand Avignon

With participation from the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis from the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva and the National Music Conservatory in Lyon
