Invited by the Association NÉPAL d'Avignon, composer, pianist and conductor Eric BRETON from Villeneuve is passionate about the voice.
This has led him to compose over a hundred melodies in French, Italian, Spanish, English...on texts ranging from PÉTRARQUE to Christian BOBIN, via VICTOR HUGO, Pablo NERUDA, Fr. MISTRAL and many others.
Musicals, cantatas, masses, incidental music, opera buffas, operas and more... A concert version inspired by Les Moines de Tibhirine and Dante's
Divine Comedy will be performed at the Opéra du Grand Avignon on October 25 and 26, 2025.
