Event in Avignon :
On next 25 August, the City of Avignon will be celebrating the 78th anniversary of the liberation of the city. For this occasion, a festive, commemorative day is planned.
On the program:
- 10:30: Display of military vehicles on Place l’Horloge.
- 11: Commemorative ceremony of the 78th anniversary of the Liberation of Avignon – at the Monument aux morts in the Rocher des Doms.
- 3pm: Parade of military vehicles in the centre of the city.
- 4pm: Display of military vehicles on Place l’Horloge.
- 10:30: Public dance on Place du Palais des Papes square.
