Each year between May and August, the Gruss Family sets up for the summer in Piolenc. The Museum with its circus costumes, posters, and souvenirs reopens its doors, and the big top hosts horse displays, acrobats, clowns and elephants, with the leafy grounds providing the ideal environment for the company’s many horses and ponies.
From 9.30 am onwards, visit the grounds with its many attractions and immerse yourself in the magical world of the circus.
Why not spend the entire day here watching circus arts performed by all the members of the circus family, and making the most of the park, its picnic area, and the restaurant.
At 10 am there’s an equestrian display, followed by alternating clown shows and equestrian acts, with a try-out at acrobatics.
Everyone has a lunch break at noon (there’s a snack bar and picnic area).
At 2 pm the Gruss circus family perform an uninterrupted 75-minute show.
2-to-6 year-olds can join an introductory workshop learning circus skills like juggling, trapeze and balancing acts; then it's time to visit the museum and stables.
