Through its vast collection of basketry tools and original designs, the museum recounts the history of basketry, a craft that can be found all over the world. Open from April to October, and all year for groups of more than 10 people.
This Museum was built on the site of a former wicker-works workshop, known as 'la Glaneuse'. Here the public can learn about an activity which strongly influenced the history of this village community in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Guided tours are available for groups all year round, by appointment only.
Tours include an explanation about the production of baskets, a tour of the collections, and to see the audio-visual homage paid to the basket-makers.
Basket-making workshops for children, adults, beginners and experts also available, by appointment only.
